Donations
Donations to the Darby Community Public Library are graciously accepted during the library’s open hours. A receipt is available upon request, but an appraisal of the value of the donation cannot be given.

Materials
Donations of books, videos and other materials are a valuable source of materials for the library. Materials will be added to the library’s collection if they meet the criteria used to purchase new items. Materials that are not added will be sold in the Library Book Store.

Financial Donations
Donors of monetary gifts are encouraged to place few restrictions on gifts so that the use of such funds will be flexible and effective. Monetary gifts for purchase of specific books or materials will be accepted when the requested purchase are in accordance with the standards and criteria of the library.
